So every once in a while, I get sloppy about my diet. Boy, can I tell a difference! When I keep it balanced, my blood sugar is easier to control, and my digestive system stays in better shape, which in turn, also helps improve blood sugar control.

Lately it seems if I get off too much, my whole body just goes to pieces - headaches, skin problems, digestive problems, acne, asthma, all sorts of nasty side effects.

I don't need any more proof than that, to convince me that a wholesome diet helps me in more than just one way.

The things that seem to affect it the worst are:

sugar
refined flour
lack of fresh veggies
cured meats

We've been using Acidophilous for several things - Vitamin K absorption at first, and then because we heard good things about it for Crohn's Disease.
