I am a cook by trade and my sugar was out of control too cause I love to eat, but a simple hotdish use ground beef brown and season with italian herbs, get around 3-4 cans of diced tomatoes italian style, mix 1/2 box of any kind of noodles, just add more sauce instead of noodles cause they are so bad for us but wheat might work never tried them yet, but low carb noodles suck they are terrible. Add some frozen or canned veggies so you are getting the good carbs instead of a big plate of noodles which average 40 gr. of carbs per cup which is not a lot. hope that helps ya a little. simple easy good.

Hello Fellow Diabetics,
Yesterday I was informed by my Doctors that I have Peripheral Neuropathy caused by Diabetes. There is no cure for the Neuropathy, however it seems I can stop the advance of it by controlling the diabetes with diet and exercise. I must admit my diet has been nothing less than a catastrophe. If anyone would like to send me some proven recipes that would both help curb my enthusiasm for over eating as well as enhance my nutritional need for fighting this dreadful diabetes disease it would be more than appreciated.

I am a type 2 diabetic. I have been able to control my blood sugar by a combination of almost a complete reduction of sugar (if that is possible) a reduced food intake (I cut back on at least 20% of portion size) a change to friendlier foods and a program of moderate exercise. I have been using stevia as a sweetener and have even substituted stevia for sugar in some recipes ( I make a mean biscotti).
I used to be a chocoholic, every day I would have sweetened soda and a bar of chocolate. After a week or more of avoiding chocolate and soft drinks I no longer crave them. I have lost 10kgs since being diagnosed (I need to lose another 10) and I feel much better for the loss of weight and the fitness.
